Learn more, below, about Ted’s move toward meeting website accessibility standards and forever changing google guidelines.
Ted's recent samples are compliant with "tableless" website accessibility standards and "googlable". Some older samples on this website had been designed with tables and were "googlable".
For the last few years, Google has been leading a move toward content driven sites. At the same time, Dreamweaver's teachings have evolved from allowing us the freedom to use tables into requiring W3C. W3C has created a movement towards accessibility. Requiring new and rigid design guidelines to be met by website designers.
This website utilizes Adobe software, HTML and CSS to create the background templates. This actual website utilizes Joomla!, a Content Management System that allows Ted to create the layout and style for each page. For these pages, he choose to only use Dreamweaver to program his templates. These page layouts were hand coded in Joomla!. Then, they were optimized to work at various modem speeds. Ted also, validated the code. It is an example of "table-less" web accessibility standards and compliant website design.
Ted's desire to learn new software has led to a Multimedia Certification from Columbia College. Since 2001, he has been creating websites utilizing Adobe software, HTML and CSS.
